from the moment we arrived, debbie was super friendly and made us feel really welcome. the one-bedroom chalet was way more spacious than we thought and it was very clean too. we especially loved that they left fresh milk and some snacks for us, which was a nice touch since we were self catering. the location was great, with easy access and plenty of parking. seriously, this place is way better than the hotels we’ve used in the past while attending the airshow!
the only downside was that local pubs closed early on sunday, so we had to search a bit for food. also, the trains nearby were a bit noisy at times, but we got used to it.

Amazing stay with great vibes!
We had such a cozy time here! The one-bedroom chalet was super clean and comfy, and the shower felt like a spa. The gardens around were so pretty to relax in. Plus, we loved the free parking and WiFi. Only bummer was that the outdoor dining area could’ve used more shade. it was a fab getaway!

The Mexican eats nearby were off the charts! Plus, the outdoor dining area at West View was perfect for a cheeky ale while soaking up the sun. Debbie, the host, made the stay top-notch, welcoming us and providing an immaculate space.
The train track behind the property didn’t bug me much, but folks might want to take note. A few electricity pylons around gives a bit of the urban feel, yet everything else just sparkled!

The location was a retreat from the hustle and bustle, enhancing relaxation. The garden was exceptionally well-maintained and provided a peaceful atmosphere. nearby train noise could be heard, especially during the day, and breakfast options were limited without on-site service. The property was immaculately clean, but some might desire more dining options in the immediate vicinity.

Great hospitality in a peaceful setting
I had a wonderful stay with a very warm welcome from Debbie upon arrival. The one-bedroom chalet was more spacious than I expected and equipped with all essential amenities like milk and coffee. The peaceful surroundings were perfect for relaxing after a busy day. One downside was the proximity to a train track, which might bother some guests, but it didn't detract from my overall experience.

I had an enjoyable stay at West View Lodge. The one-bedroom chalet exceeded my expectations in space and cleanliness. It felt like a home away from home. Debbie welcomed me warmly and provided fresh milk and kitchen essentials, a lovely touch for a self-catering arrangement. The outdoor area was perfect for relaxing with a drink while soaking up the sun. Nearby, the local dining options were a pleasant surprise, especially the Mexican restaurant. I did notice that the train noise could be a disturbance at times, and it might be worth highlighting the early closing hours of pubs and restaurants on Sundays. my experience was very positive. Just a few small tweaks could make it even better.
